The New Orleans Saints beat the Baltimore Ravens 24-17 Sunday as Tyler Shough's 1-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter — upheld after a replay review — gave the Saints a lead they would not relinquish.
Shough finished 27 of 34 for 252 yards with a passing touchdown and also ran it in twice, while Chris Olave caught eight passes for 86 yards and a score to lead New Orleans in the comeback win. For Baltimore, Lamar Jackson went 21 of 31 for 235 yards and a touchdown but was sacked three times and threw an interception, and Rashod Bateman hauled in seven catches for 88 yards and a score.
Derrick Henry carried 16 times for 68 yards and a touchdown for the Ravens, and Daniel Carlson connected on all three of his field goal attempts, including a 51-yarder, to account for New Orleans' other points. Baltimore's Tyler Loop went 1 of 2 on field goals as the Ravens were unable to answer Shough's decisive quarterback sneak.
Baltimore will look to bounce back when it hosts the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, September 27.
