The Baltimore Ravens signed guard Kyle Hergel and center Andre James to the practice squad on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Hergel, 27, has two seasons of NFL experience and played college football at Boston College.
Practice squad players work with the team every week but aren't on the 53-man roster. They can be elevated for games or promoted, and other teams are allowed to sign them to their own active rosters.
Also on Sept. 30, the Ravens promoted safety K'Von Wallace from the practice squad to the active roster.
