The Baltimore Ravens promoted quarterback Austin Reed from the practice squad to the active roster on Thursday, Nov. 5.
Reed, 26, has one season of NFL experience and played college football at Western Kentucky.
Unlike a game-day elevation, signing a player to the active roster keeps him on the 53 until the team makes another move, and other clubs can no longer sign him away from the practice squad. On Nov. 2, the Ravens signed him to the practice squad.
Also on Nov. 5, the Ravens placed quarterback Lamar Jackson and quarterback Tyler Huntley on injured reserve, the Ravens activated outside linebacker Adisa Isaac and kicker Jake Moody from the practice squad (standard elevation) vs and the Ravens made a roster move involving a player.
