The Baltimore Orioles signed right-handed pitcher Gunnar Garrison on July 25, locking up the 530th overall pick from the 2026 MLB Draft. Garrison, a prep arm out of Eaton High School in Colorado, had been committed to Arizona State University before Baltimore selected him in the 18th round. His signing brings the Orioles to 18 of 20 draft selections under contract, with all of their first 18 picks now signed ahead of the league's July 27, 5:00 p.m. ET deadline.
Garrison was one of nine players the Orioles signed on Saturday, joining SS Will Plunkett, RHP Miguel Hugas, RHP Garrison Sumner, SS Brayden Fry, RHP Ross Norman, C Leo Marrero, RHP Diego Gutierrez, and SS Jimmy Anderson in a busy late push to finalize the club's 2026 draft class. Two selections remain unsigned as the deadline approaches.
