The Baltimore Orioles have signed shortstop Jimmy Anderson, their fifth-round selection (142nd overall) in the 2026 MLB Draft. Anderson was drafted out of Heartland Community College on July 12 and formally agreed to his professional contract on July 25, completing the standard post-draft signing process.
Anderson was among a wave of 2026 draft picks brought into the organization, with the Orioles also signing RHP Diego Gutierrez on the same day.
