The Orioles (56-58) host the Los Angeles Angels (43-71) Thursday night at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in the series finale, with Baltimore having won six of their last ten games and the Angels having won two of their last ten.

Baltimore took the middle game of the series Wednesday behind a strong outing from Trevor Rogers, who worked six innings and struck out nine while allowing two runs in a 5-2 victory. Coby Mayo went 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI, while Leody Taveras and Tyler O'Neill each homered and drove in two runs to account for most of the offense. Yennier Cano closed things out with a clean inning and two strikeouts.

Los Angeles sits near the bottom of the American League West at 43-71, and the Angels have dropped two straight heading into Thursday. Ryan Johnson (2-6, 7.63 ERA) takes the ball for the visitors. Brandon Young (8-2, 3.31 ERA) goes for Baltimore in a favorable matchup against one of the weakest starters in the league. A win would give the Orioles a series sweep and move them above .500 for the first time since early in the season — meaningful positioning with the trade deadline less than four weeks away.
