The Baltimore Ravens signed fullback Lucas Scott to the practice squad on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
Scott, 23, has one season of NFL experience and played college football at Army.
Practice squad players work with the team every week but aren't on the 53-man roster. They can be elevated for games or promoted, and other teams are allowed to sign them to their own active rosters.
Also on Oct. 7, the Ravens promoted tight end Nick Vannett from the practice squad to the active roster, the Ravens acquired center Cam Jurgens via trade from the Philadelphia Eagles for a 2027 fifth-round pick and 2028 second-round pick and the Ravens placed tight end Durham Smythe on injured reserve.
