The Baltimore Orioles signed right-hander Robinson Martínez to a minor league contract on Thursday, Oct. 29.
Martínez, 28, is a native of Moca, Dominican Republic. In 2025, Martínez posted a 4.86 ERA with 18 strikeouts and 19 walks over 16 2/3 innings in 13 Double-A appearances. He has not yet made his major league debut.
A minor league contract doesn't put a player on the 40-man roster, so the signing adds organizational depth without costing Baltimore a roster spot.
Also on Oct. 29, right-hander Chris Bassitt elected free agency and right-hander Andrew Kittredge elected free agency.
