The Baltimore Orioles activated third baseman Jordan Westburg from the 60-day injured list on Monday, Nov. 2.
Westburg, 27, is a native of New Braunfels, Texas. He is a career .264 hitter over 260 major league games.
Coming off the 60-day injured list puts a player back on the 40-man roster, so the move usually comes with a corresponding 40-man transaction.
Also on Nov. 2, first baseman Ryan Mountcastle elected free agency, the Orioles claimed left-hander Philip Abner off waivers from the New York Mets and the Orioles claimed right-hander Josh White off waivers from the Miami Marlins.
