The Maryland Charm lost to the New York Charging 12-10 on Saturday in Long Island, N.Y., falling short in their second consecutive defeat of the 2026 WLL regular season.
Individual statistics were not available for the game. Coach Emily Parros and captain Alex Aust Holman will look to address a two-goal deficit that the Charm could not overcome on the road.
Maryland managed 10 goals against the Charging but could not contain New York's offense, which finished with 12. The Charm were unable to manufacture the road win, dropping a game in which they trailed by at least two goals at the final horn.
The loss puts Maryland in a difficult position in the WLL standings as the regular season continues. The Charm will look to regroup before their next contest and halt a skid that has now extended to back-to-back games.
