The Orioles (45-51) host the Kansas City Royals (38-58) one more time in Sunday's series finale at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, with Baltimore having won the first two of the three-game set, and three in a row. Can they make it four for the first time in 2026? This will be Baltimore's eighth chance at such a streak.
Kyle Bradish carried the load Saturday, working 6.2 innings and allowing one earned run while striking out five in a 6-1 Baltimore win. Pete Alonso supplied the big offensive blow, going 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, and two RBI. Gunnar Henderson, Taylor Ward, and Coby Mayo each added solo home runs to give Baltimore plenty of cushion, with Tyler Wells and Grant Wolfram combining for two scoreless innings in relief to finish things off.
The O's have used this matchup with Kansas City, last in the AL Central, to make up some ground on the American League wild-card race. Baltimore is just two games out of the final wild-card spot, with one game left before the All-Star break.
