The Cleveland Browns beat the Baltimore Ravens 13-10 Sunday on Andre Szmyt's 37-yard field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter.
On a third-and-5 with 42 seconds to go, DeShaun Watson connected on pass to Jerry Jeudy across the middle for 33 yards put Cleveland in position to win the game after Baltimore had the ball with less than three minutes left, but went three and out.
Szmyt finished 2 of 3 on field goal attempts, with a long of 48 yards, accounting for seven of the Browns' 13 points. His miss came in the fourth quarter, just barely wide left, but he made up for it with the winner. Baltimore falls to 4-2, the same record as the Browns, in their AFC North opener.
For Baltimore, Tyler Huntley -- starting for the injured Lamar Jackson for a second straight game -- completed 19 of 31 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown, adding 28 yards on the ground, but was sacked three times for 17 yards in losses. Zay Flowers led the Ravens in receiving with six catches for 66 yards, while Josh Cuevas hauled in four passes for 44 yards and Baltimore's only offensive touchdown.
The Ravens were unable to generate consistent offense against a Cleveland defense that held Derrick Henry — who also lost a fumble — to 58 yards on 17 carries. Watson managed just 164 yards through the air for the Browns, who relied on Audric Estime's one-yard touchdown run and Szmyt's kicking to pull out the victory.
