Orioles Minors: Single-A Delmarva Activates Catcher Andrew Tess From 60-Day Injured List

Andrew Tess returns to Delmarva's active roster from the 60-day injured list.

Baltimore Sports Feed · November 2, 2026

The Orioles' Single-A affiliate in Delmarva activated catcher Andrew Tess from the 60-day injured list on Monday, Nov. 2.

Tess, 20, is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida. In 2026, Tess hit .235/.350/.412 with one home run and four RBIs over six Single-A games. He has not yet made his major league debut.

Coming off the 60-day injured list puts a player back on the 40-man roster, so the move usually comes with a corresponding 40-man transaction.

Also on Nov. 2, High-A Frederick activated right-hander Luis Sánchez from the full-season injured list, High-A Frederick activated right-hander Grabiel Salazar from the full-season injured list and High-A Frederick activated right-hander Hayden Nierman from the full-season injured list.
