The Orioles' Single-A affiliate in Delmarva activated shortstop Cobb Hightower from the 60-day injured list on Monday, Nov. 2.
Hightower, 21, is a native of Statesville, North Carolina. In 2026, Hightower hit .327/.364/.365 with zero home runs and four RBIs over 14 Single-A games. He has not yet made his major league debut.
Coming off the 60-day injured list puts a player back on the 40-man roster, so the move usually comes with a corresponding 40-man transaction.
Also on Nov. 2, High-A Frederick activated right-hander Luis Sánchez from the full-season injured list, High-A Frederick activated right-hander Grabiel Salazar from the full-season injured list and High-A Frederick activated right-hander Hayden Nierman from the full-season injured list.
