Valencio, 18, is a native of El Seibo, Dominican Republic. He has not yet made his major league debut.
Coming off the 60-day injured list puts a player back on the 40-man roster, so the move usually comes with a corresponding 40-man transaction.
Also on Nov. 2, Single-A Delmarva activated outfielder Raylin Ramos from the 60-day injured list, Single-A Delmarva activated right-hander Keeler Morfe from the 60-day injured list and Single-A Delmarva activated right-hander Miguel Mesa from the 60-day injured list.
