Dean Kremer is the first Israeli-born starting pitcher to appear in the major leagues, a distinction he carries with pride. Born in Stockton, California to Israeli parents, he represented Israel at the 2023 World Baseball Classic. The Dodgers drafted him in 2016 and traded him to Baltimore in the Manny Machado deal in 2018. He’s been a dependable mid-rotation arm for the Orioles since 2022, posting back-to-back double-digit win seasons in 2022 and 2023.
