Elijah Sarratt

Sarratt's path to the NFL ran through three different programs. A no-star recruit out of Colonial Forge, Virginia, he transferred to St. Frances Academy in Baltimore for high school before starting his college career at FCS Saint Francis (Pa.) in 2022, where he caught 42 passes for 700 yards and 13 touchdowns as a true freshman. He transferred to James Madison in 2023 (82 catches, 1,191 yards, 8 touchdowns, First-Team All-Sun Belt) before finishing his career at Indiana, where he helped the Hoosiers reach the College Football Playoff in 2024 and win the national championship in 2025. His senior season alone produced 52 catches, 802 yards, and an FBS-best 15 touchdowns, including game-winning scores against both Iowa and Oregon.

Sarratt joined fellow rookie Ja'Kobi Lane as one of two big-bodied, contested-catch receivers Baltimore drafted in 2026, and the two have leaned on each other through camp, appearing together on the team's in-house podcast, The Lounge. A back-shoulder-throw specialist who studied Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams film with his college quarterback, Sarratt has also seen work as a punt returner in camp, giving him a path onto the field even in a crowded receiver room that includes Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and Lane himself.

Though he was born in Virginia, Sarratt spent his final two years of high school at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, giving his selection by the Ravens a genuine hometown-return angle. His brother, Josh, currently plays safety at James Madison — the same program Elijah passed through on his own way to Indiana and a national title.
